Reflecting on Emin & Paul’s journey so far, we would like to share what we have consistently upheld and how certain aspects of our brand have grown ever stronger.
As a designer brand, Emin & Paul has continued to refine its core identity—our philosophy, our commitment to sustainable fashion, and the essence of craftsmanship that defines us.
In striving to become a designer brand with clear standards and conviction, we have continually asked ourselves one fundamental question: “Why this garment?” The answer has always been rooted in the philosophy that guides our work.
Emin & Paul has sought to be a brand that endures, rather than one consumed by passing trends, and to that end, our distinctive colour palette and the quality of our pieces have been important considerations at the start of each collection.
This approach has naturally led us towards a deeper commitment to 'Sustainable Fashion'.

A Belief That Longevity Is Sustainability
At Emin & Paul, sustainable fashion means creating pieces that one continues to reach for over time—garments that remain desirable long after the season has passed. We believe this to be the most fundamental form of sustainability.
To this end, we use premium fabrics sourced from Italy and Japan to enhance the integrity and finish of each piece. More than 70–80% of each collection is composed of natural fibres, selected to be gentle on the skin and recyclable wherever possible.
We maintain a small-scale production model to minimise unnecessary surplus, and from the earliest stages of design we focus on silhouettes and structures that transcend trends.
In addition, we offer a complimentary repair service, ensuring that our customers can wear their Emin & Paul pieces for many years in excellent condition.
Allowing a single garment to accompany its wearer beyond seasons and across years—this is the sustainability we seek to practise.

Sustainable Choices Extending into Our Brand Space
Sustainability does not end with our products.
Most of the interior elements used within Emin & Paul’s space are crafted in wood by our own handcraft studio. Designed with durable structures for long-term use, they are not easily replaced, allowing us to minimise unnecessary movement and consumption.
In particular, our wooden hangers—assembled without screws and secured solely through interlocking wooden components—are made to be fully recyclable. Through such considered details, the values and attitude we pursue as a brand are reflected throughout the space.
Rather than following rapidly shifting trends, this has been a year of choosing what endures.

The Handcraftsmanship of Emin & Paul
As Emin & Paul began with handcrafted headbands, craftsmanship remains a defining force that continues to guide the brand today.
Every product is conceived and developed in-house—from initial design through to the making process—allowing the sensitivity of the hand and attention to detail to be naturally embedded in each piece.
Among them, the item that most fully embodies this value is our leather bag. Each handcrafted leather bag passes through a process completed by hand, and it is only through time and use that it truly comes into its own, ageing naturally alongside its wearer. We believe that the true charm of craftsmanship lies in the way a single bag grows together with the life of the person who carries it.
From 2026 onwards, through our ‘Artisan Project’, we will collaborate with craftspeople across various fields, further expanding the strength and meaning of values shaped by hand. Beyond simple collaboration, we aim to explore how the traditions and techniques of each discipline can be translated into contemporary design—expressed through both product and story.
Looking ahead, Emin & Paul will continue to refine designs that consider the full lifecycle of a garment: structures made to last, pieces designed for repair and care, and thoughtful material selection.
Rather than responding to trends with speed, we aspire to grow as a brand that builds a standard of quality proven by time.
